The AYCAN AI & Climate Innovation Programme will explore how artificial intelligence, data and emerging technologies can support climate and environmental action.This programme does not replace AYCAN's broader climate mission. Instead, it creates a space for young people to explore how new technologies can become tools for understanding environmental challenges and developing better solutions.
Young people may explore areas such as:
Participants will be encouraged to focus on real African problems, rather than using technology simply because it is new.
To connect African youth with emerging tools and ideas while encouraging responsible innovation that can contribute to climate action, environmental protection and sustainable development.
